概述
The Internal Medicine Specialists clinics of Terrebonne General Health System offer comprehensive health services to adult patients ages 18 years and older. Our team of internists specialize in the diagnosis, 治疗, and prevention of disease in adult patients. They provide compassionate care across the spectrum from health to complex illness. Our providers diagnose and treat chronic disease, such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), 糖尿病, 关节炎, 和哮喘, as well as acute illness. They are skilled in both the management of multiple disease processes and in recognizing and controlling risk factors that can contribute to the exacerbation of illness.
Our commitment to health, wellness, and disease prevention in our patients is strong. We offer an array of preventive services such as immunizations, 糖尿病 and cardiovascular disease screenings, 和乳房, 颈, 结直肠, and prostate cancer screenings. Our annual wellness exams focus on developing a prevention plan customized to each patient’s health needs. Quality care is a cornerstone of the Internal Medicine Specialists providers who have extensive experience caring for patients in our community.
This clinic has transitioned to a hospital-based outpatient department of Terrebonne General Health System.
Depending on the clinical services provided, patients may incur additional out-of-pocket expenses and/or receive two bills as follows:
• Technical 服务 - charges for medical or technical equipment,
supplies, and services.
• Professional 服务 - charges for physician and clinical professional

Co-insurance and deductibles may apply and could be covered by a secondary insurance policy.

How to Schedule an Appointment
To establish care, please call one of our office locations to request an appointment Monday through Friday. Follow-up appointments can also be scheduled through MyChart with an active account. For the convenience of our patients, same-day, early morning, and 远程医疗 (virtual) appointments are available.
